Now that we’re well into 2013, it’s worth taking stock of what we are doing to attract and maximise business with our ideal customers. More strategically, it’s worth asking ourselves how happy we are with the overall direction for our businesses.
Here at S D Business Management, we have a great interest in the teachings of leading business strategist Simon Sinek, author of the best-selling book ‘Start With Why’.
Simon’s focus is on how a very small number of businesses and leaders get far better results than the rest of their field because they go about it in the opposite way from everybody else.
The key issue he addresses is why people really buy, and how people are far more attracted to your products and services because of why you do what you do, and how you communicate that. He goes on to lay out clearly who you should really seek to attract as customers and employees.
Therefore, I’d like to invite you to a complimentary seminar where we can explore Simon’s pioneering ideas within a hand-picked group of fellow business owners.
The seminar, ‘The Vital Spark – for Profit, Pleasure and Purpose’ will take place on 19th June from 11am-3pm, at the Blythswood Hotel in Glasgow. It’s complimentary and will include a buffet lunch.
The session will be informal and interactive, so that you can take a few hours to see how you can apply these ‘Start With Why’ principles profitably in your businesses, for the rest of 2013 and beyond.
We’ll have three speakers: myself, Stephen Docherty; Matthew Newnham; and Gerry Forristal. Matthew and Gerry share my belief in these principles, and each specializes in applying them (via their own unique approaches to sales and marketing, respectively).
Here’s what we’ll cover on 19th June:
1. How to Get Your Audience to See, Like & Want to Buy from You – without hype or gimmicks
2. How to Close Great Deals – without being salesy
3. How to Measure the Rest of Our Results
In each case, we’ll encourage questions and discussion to challenge and explore how these ideas can work tangibly, so you can leave with ideas to test in your business.
Should this be of interest to you, great – I’d love to see you there. To reserve your seat, simply let us know via the contact form, here.
