Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use our website or get in touch with us.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Who we are
This website is run by S D Business Management Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC840289), of Suite 4.5 Turnberry House, 175 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2LB. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we use your information, email enquiries@sdbm.co.uk, call 0141 248 7015, or write to us at the address above.
What we collect
- When you contact us through a form on this website, by email or by phone: your name, email address, and anything you include in your message.
- When you visit the website: limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request. This is collected by our hosting provider to keep the website running securely.
We do not use the website to collect payment details, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss working together.
- To keep the website secure and protect our forms from spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
If you become a client, we will explain how we use your information for the services we provide in our engagement letter.
Our legal basis
Under UK data protection law, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests – to respond to enquiries and to run and secure our website.
- Steps before entering a contract – when you ask us about our services.
- Legal obligation – where the law requires us to keep or share information.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use a small number of trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Cloudflare – hosts this website and provides Turnstile, which checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
- Twilio SendGrid – delivers the messages you send through our forms to our inbox. We send these through our website provider, Digital Impact.
- Our email and IT providers – store the enquiries we receive.
Some parts of our pages are provided by other organisations and load from their servers: our video is hosted by Vimeo (it only loads when you choose to play it), our giving impact counters come from B1G1: Business for Good, and the map on our contact page comes from OpenStreetMap. These organisations may receive your IP address and browser information when that content loads, and their own privacy policies apply.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies of our own. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology to protect the website and our forms. If you play our video, Vimeo may set cookies of its own; we ask Vimeo not to track viewers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them, and for no more than two years afterwards unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for the periods required by law and our professional bodies.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, or to limit how we use it;
- object to how we use your information;
- ask us to transfer your information to another organisation.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) atico.org.ukor on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
