Andrew Docherty

Andrew is a director and joint owner of our firm and has been with S D Business Management for more than 15 years. He enjoys working closely with clients, sharing his ideas for tax planning and business growth to give them peace of mind. He has an excellent sense for tax and has specialist knowledge in areas such as trusts, Inheritance Tax and VAT. He’s often heard discussing whether or not a giant marshmallow is subject to VAT!

The natural world is a longstanding interest for Andrew, and he likes to get into the outdoors as often as possible to do walks with his wife and two sons. He is also a keen reader and music fan, enjoying tinkering on the guitar from time to time.
